I haven't gotten the chance to read Ruin and Rising yet, sadly (nor have I got the chance to reread Siege and Storm), but I do hope Sturmhond plays a big role because he was my favourite as well. I have a feeling I would like this one even more a second time as well, because I would be able to pick up on all the little hints and nuance.Ayleehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07639250102446794830noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1682866082765759474.post-53938588403121230272014-06-24T23:55:36.874-04:002014-06-24T23:55:36.874-04:00This is definitely my favorite installment of the ...This is definitely my favorite installment of the entire series, primarily because of all the darkness and tension Alina experiences in relation to the other characters and her own growing powers. Plus, the Darkling's "non" presence, with him not really being present for much of this book but still there in Alina's mind so often, really enhanced his role as the villain of this trilogy. Can't wait to see what you think of Ruin & Rising now, Courtney! :)Keertanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01071392026876644282noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1682866082765759474.post-7480717044227915812014-06-24T17:40:36.887-04:002014-06-24T17:40:36.887-04:00It's great that you reread the second book bef...It's great that you reread the second book before reading the last one! I always think that is something I should do and then end up being too impatient to read the last book. :) Siege and Storm was so exciting - definitely no middle book syndrome as you say, and Sturmhond was a brilliant addition to the story! I look forward to reading your thoughts on the last book!Bookish Whimsyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16028950059555351758noreply@blogger.com
