  1. Aw, it seems like everyone got Clockwork Princess this week except me! I'm still waiting - incredibly impatiently - for it to arrive in the mail. Blah... I really hope you're loving it though, Courtney!! And I sincerely hope you love The Monstrumologist as much as I did because I am pretty crazy about that series and Rick Yancey's writing!!

    1. I hope so too! It's a crime that I haven't read it yet! I am really looking forward to reading some of his writing because I've heard good things. And I hope it comes soon! I used to preorder with Amazon, but now I preorder with Barnes and Noble and it came quicker but still not fast enough. I wanted it months ago. :P

    1. I just finished The Name of the Star and while it didn't quite meet my expectations, I still enjoyed it and intend to finish the series. I can't wait to read the sequel and find out where it's going next!

  3. I LOVE THE NEW DESIGN! :D

I'm probably a little late on that! Sorry!

Anyway, Split is AMAZING. Seriously, it's one of the best debuts I've read and I loved it. Second Helpings is a terrific follow-up to Sloppy Firsts although I didn't enjoy it nearly as much as the first. The Disreputable History is a little slow, but once you get into it, it's SO GOOD. I really enjoyed that one as well.

Unfortunately, I didn't like CP2. :/ I'm the only one, though, so I'm sure you'll love it!(: Great haul, Courtney! :D

Also, I am SO HAPPY that you enjoyed Hawksong! Only a handful of my friends read it, so your comment got me really excited. Thanks!

    1. THANKS! And no, you're not late at all! :D I hope you had fun in DC btw!

It's great to hear that you enjoyed so many of these books. I'm SO excited to read them all. And I actually saw Split on your blog and saw how you raved about it, and that got me interested so thank you!

I have to say that I have not enjoyed The Clockwork Princess as much as I loved the rest of the series. But I'm only a little over halfway through. I wish had more time! Ahhhhh

And Hawksong brings me back to high school. I was a big Amelia Atwater-Rhodes fan then, and I haven't read any of her books in awhile which is unfortunate. I will say that the rest of the series is not as good as Hawksong but you may like it more than I did. Can't wait to read your review! :)
